Synergy incorporates over twenty years of in-depth software systems expertise to shape world-class management information technology in collaboration with our clients to achieve their mission and goals.
Founded in 1988 by Christine Chin Ryan, Synergy is a certified as a Minority Woman Emerging Small business. Synergy’s experience with professional information systems solutions means they can deliver Web-based and Client Server Systems Solutions that include:
Synergy built the C&RD database system enabling NWPCC to track energy efficiency measures with the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), utility power customers, third party vendors, state agencies as well as not-for-profit conservation groups. Several years later, the NWPCC and BPA asked Synergy to develop the PTR, a more robust version of the C&RD, to accommodate new energy efficiency programs.
Synergy designed PTR as an e-commerce application so industry customers could view product specifications (engineering data that calculate energy savings and credits), shop for conservation measures, and then add these measures to their online shopping carts.
The PTR site uses MS SQL Server, Internet Information Service, and SSL security. Synergy has also developed offline calculators using complex MS Excel formulas and macros.
In cooperation with BPA, the Northwest Power & Conservation Council, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington, the Northwest Hydropower Database and Analysis System (NWHS) was developed.
Synergy provided NWHS, engineering and database support. Synergy's expertise in project management, systems analysis, programming, database maintenance, and basic hydropower engineering ensured that NWHS remains the critical inventory of existing and potential hydropower projects in the Pacific Northwest.
Synergy also managed end-user data requests, training, and consultations. This year Synergy developed a web-based version of NWHS using such products as Windows HP, Microsoft.NET 3.5, Visual Studio 2005, Crystal Reports, ASP.NET, AJAX, and SQL Server 2005.
Synergy Consulting, Inc. was hired by Milepost Consulting to develop the IT Consulting deliverables of their NEEA’s Commercial and Industrial SEM Infrastructure contract.
Synergy was responsible for the SEM Knowledge Center Strategic Roadmap and Implementation Plan that NEEA will use to guide the website development of a marketing digital agency. Synergy supported Milepost with the stakeholders’ interviews and interview questions.
